Happy Final Space Friday! So I woke up to a new fun wrinkle...tariffs. Which has caused a small pause on the Midnight Edition production until next week so our printer can give us a new quote. No matter which way I go I'm going to get hit by it. So far it shouldn't be a big issue but won't know exactly until next week. Then I can decide whether or not to go to a different printer. But I'm smart enough to know Final Space has always been plagued with back luck so I put some padding in this for the unknown. Now the question becomes how big does this unknown get and when is the best time to strike. These are not today's problems, it's tomorrow's. Today, we take this disadvantage and turn it into an advantage. I have a week or so to make the Midnight Edition even better since I have to wait anyway. And since I had to make the book page count divisible by 8 for printing (TOTAL 576 PAGES). I had to add 3 pages at the end and at the time I didn't have any ideas for these 3 pages but this gives me some time to add a bit more back matter to the novel. I filmed a video talking about of this but let's just keep it to the good stuff! Here's a new track from Jake Sidwell for the novel. More soon! Have a great weekend!
