Happy Final Space Friday! Rough one today, not gonna lie but let’s talk about something fun. THE MIDNIGHT EDITION IS OFFICIALLY IN PRINT! InDesign, that little sh--(cough) fought me all the way to the finish line like it was defending the galaxy itself. My brain is full mush now from combing through endless color pages plus tracking every tiny change, from text bubbles hugging the bleed line to artwork flirting with the edge. And while building the COLOR EDITION, I started spotting pages we completely forgot to color. We were moving that fast back then. (See said forgotten pages below.) Thankfully,
absolutely crushed the Invictus prelude turned it around lightning fast, and it looks AMAZING. Meanwhile, I’ve been chasing down missing pages from colorists who never uploaded their finals to Dropbox… (collapses dramatically) But despite all that? The book is looking awesome. There’s this weird emotional tightrope I’m walking..like proud of how it looks… and still a little heartbroken it won’t be animated. I’m pushing as hard and fast as I can, juggling all of this at once, and I’m so close I can practically lick the finish line. -Olan
