Happy Final Space Friday! The COLORED EDITION COVER is looking absolutely  I had @daztibbles extend the artwork across the spine and back cover, and now I’m in the ultimate existential crisis: do I slap the Final Space logo on the spine… or a tiny Mooncake or leave as is? Meanwhile, over on the MIDNIGHT EDITION, I finally got the print dimensions locked in and files ready to re-send to the printer today. Jake’s doing one last proofread before I hit send. BUT—fun fact—InDesign fought me to the end. After hours of adding bleed lines to every single page manually, it decided, “Nah,” and threw me export errors for no reason. So I had to Frankenstein the entire novel together in chunks. Hey it worked! YOU HEAR ME INDESIGN! I GOT IT OUT OF YOU! Anyways... This final stretch...has felt the longest. The book’s done, but now I’m translating this thing from pixels to atoms, and it’s like someone cut the power and I’m stumbling through the dark with a candle made of caffeine. Warner really tried to make it impossible, but here we are—still kicking. Figuring it out day by day. Truthfully, this part’s been humbling. After printing, I still have to tackle warehouses, shipping, logistics-AKA nonsense nobody actually wants to know. But I’ll figure it out. One day at a time. I guess what I’m trying to say is: the journey’s been long… but every day, we get closer. And it’s starting to feel real. Hold tight. It’s coming.
