Happy Final Space Friday I’m on a flight back to Nashville. Had some really productive meetings and getting to sit down with Matthew at Gungnir Books was super helpful, I had a lot of questions and getting to look at the novels he had printed help me make some choices for the color edition. I’m getting through the color print file and have already flagged about 10-15 pages that need some touch up on color nothing crazy just when the pages land next to each other little things really stand out. I’m almost done with the file though. Slowly but surely. We’re also making progress on the bonus parts/ one shots for the graphic novel. The prequel part that were calling “1000” follows two Ventrexian brothers who embark on a perilous mission to assassinate the Supreme of a foreign invader — a single act that will reshape their world for the next thousand years. That story could change but I’m basically letting Daz go crazy and even letting him co-write this with me. While we wait for production of midnight edition and as I finish the color print file might as well keep going! Until the tires fall off. I’m attaching some concepts from Daz.
